WHAT IS CUBO R3?
The CUBO R3 initiative promotes social responsibility and environmental culture through the installation of Smart Waste Collection Machines, also called Reverse Vending Machines. CUBO R3 aims to change the way in which the waste of beverage packaging is managed, providing benefits to citizens in exchange for aluminum cans and plastic containers (PET).
CUBO R3 was born in Colombia through the installation of several smart waste collection machines in public and private locations. The objective of CUBO R3 is providing access to technological tools that allow citizens to be part of the recycling process. It also encourages care for the environment and creates a waste separation culture.

CUBO R3 smart waste collection machines collect quickly and efficiently aluminum cans and plastic bottles , which are deposited by citizens. The machines operate in a simple and intuitive way, facilitating the integration of users with the recycling process.
The CUBO machines recognize the type, quantity, and size of each of the deposited containers, and issue ECUBOs (Virtual Coins) to the users depending on their contribution. ECUBOs can be exchanged for benefits (Coupons) or can be donated to environmental causes through the Mobile App CUBO R3.
